Neopterons with paralyzing poison stingers on their abdomens. Since Vespoids are attracted to light, hunters can use brightmoss to mark large monsters, which Vespoid will then attack and paralyze. To finish off a Vespoid without damaging its delicate materials, a hunter must avoid blunt trauma and use attacks that gradually drain its health. Vespoid fluids are useful for crafting with monster bones.
